All TV" episodes with a look at that time George Lucas made a prequel to one of his beloved franchises with a child actor yelling things like "yippee" and a lot of really racist stereotypes that were bad even in the 90s. No, not Phantom Menace, we already did that one! This is Young Indiana Jones.
The subject of this episode contains depictions of racist caricatures of Middle Eastern and African people, child abduction and enslavement, the use of brown face, and general islamaphobia, orientalism, and british imperialism, and our discussion of the subject will touch on these themes.
